GLK Accessories iBook
Challenge
Mercedes-Benz dealerships were searching for a better way to market their vehicle’s accessories either as an up-sale during a purchase or an add-on the customer discovers while at a service appointment.
Solution
We wanted to make learning about the GLK accessories more engaging than the usual flyer or brochure. Once we realized every Mercedes-Benz dealership has access to iPads it was only a matter of deciding which method would be best; app, ibook, pdf or website. The ibook, even with its limitations, became a great vehicle for interactives, videos and imagery to showcase the GLK accessories.

This is an extension of the Table of Contents that gives the user quick access to featured accessories. Users can click on images to jump directly to the corresponding page.

This page has a simple interactive that allows the user to swap tire information and images by clicking on the thumbnails.

Clickable thumbnails give the user more information and larger imagery for the appearance accessories on this page.
